This bouzouki was made for me by Andy Viccars in Milton Keynes and based on a Yamaha SG 2000 and is one of my favorite instuments to play.

With the exception of the bridge, all the machinery including pickups are made by Yamaha.

In addition to the two humbucker pickups there is also an acoustic pickup under the bridge. there are two jack outs one for the humbuckers and one for the acoustic pickup.

Usually, I have the humbuckers going into a Fender Hotrod Deluxe and the acoustic going into an AER acoustic amp. Mixing the two sounds together produces a wonderful fat electric sound with an acoustic zing!
